A man in his 60s is in hospital in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle while riding his scooter in North York on Saturday afternoon.
Toronto police said the collision happened in the area of Sheppard Avenue West and Allen Road shortly before 2:30 p.m.
Toronto paramedics told CP24 that the man was taken to a trauma centre with serious, possibly life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, police said.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation.
