Toronto police have arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with a serious collision in Etobicoke that occurred early Saturday evening.

Officials say the incident happened in the area of Kipling and Horner Avenues shortly after 7:30 p.m. for reports of a female pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

It’s unclear what led up to incident but police say the driver “did not remain on scene.”

The man, who police did not name in an email to CP24 faces several charges including attempted murder, assault with a weapon, dangerous operation, failure to stop at the scene of an accident, and public mischief.
