A toddler is dead after falling from a highrise in North York. CP24’s Andrew Brennan has the latest from the scene.

A young child has died after falling from an apartment building in North York on Sunday afternoon, police say.

The incident happened near Don Mills Road and Graydon Hall Drive, just south of Highway 401.

Toronto police said they were called to that area around 12:20 p.m. for reports of a toddler who had fallen from a high—rise apartment.

Police said a toddler has been pronounced deceased.

Police are not confirming at this time which the floor the child fell from.

They are also not providing any further information on them at this time.
