Police are searching for a suspect accused of damaging a large menorah outside a Jewish community centre last month.

Investigators allege a man, believed to be in his 30s, walked past the menorah, which was positioned outside the community centre, and knocked it over, causing damage.

Police are treating the incident as a suspected hate-motivated offence.

Police have released photos of the suspect. He was last seen wearing a grey toque, black jacket, grey pants, glasses, and black running shoes.

Toronto police say their Hate Crime Unit is leading the investigation. Anyone with information is being asked to contact investigators.
