Toronto police say they’re searching for a man who is wanted in connection with two sexual assaults in the city last weekend.
The first incident happened on Saturday in the Riverside neighbourhood, near Dundas Street East and De Grassi Street.
Toronto police said they were called to that area at about 8:10 p.m. for reports of a sexual assault.
They say a group of women were walking on the sidewalk when an unknown male suspect approached them in close proximity.
He then allegedly took hold of the victim’s forearm with one hand and made verbal sexual advances before sexually assaulted her and fleeing the scene.
The victim was uninjured.
The second incident happened the following day, on Sunday, May 10.
Police said at around 5:30 p.m. they responded to a call for a sexual assault in the west end, near Dundas Street West and Bloor Street West.
Investigators say a woman was in a commercial building when a male followed her into an office space. He then allegedly approached the victim from behind and sexually assaulted her before fleeing the scene. The victim, who was not injured, and the suspect are not known to each other, they say.

The suspect is described as a male and approximately six-foot-two to six-foot-four with short hair and a slim build.
He was last seen wearing a plaid jacket, dark pants, and running shoes.
This investigation is ongoing and anyone with further information is asked to contact Toronto police at 416-808-7474 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
