Drivers saw significant delays in the southbound lanes of Highway 400 this morning due to a multi-vehicle crash.
At one point, only one lane was getting by following a crash at Sheppard Avenue, CP24 Traffic Specialist Adwoa Nsiah-Yeboah said Wednesday.
“We are dealing with major problems. Because of the rainfall a couple of vehicles ended up sliding out,” she said at around 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
The delays, she noted, extend all the way to Steeles Avenue.
By around 6:30 a.m., all but one lane had cleared.
Foggy conditions have also emerged in parts of the GTA, making for hazardous travel for drivers.
