Suspect sought in two sexual assaults in midtown Toronto

Toronto police have released images of a suspect accused of sexually assaulting two people in separate incidents last week.

Both incidents happened on the afternoon of May 15 in the area of Yonge Street and St. Clair Avenue East.

Police said a victim was walking around 4:15 p.m. when an unknown man approached and allegedly sexually assaulted them.

More than an hour later, the man approached another victim and allegedly sexually assaulted them.

Police said the two victims do not know each other.

The suspect is described as between five-foot-eight and five-foot-10 with a heavy build and dark-coloured braided hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, black pants and brown and black shoes.
