A worker has died after falling off the roof of a garage in Toronto’s west end, police say.
The industrial accident happened near Bloor Street West and Ossington Avenue, near Hepbourne Street.
Toronto police say they were called to that area just before 11:15 a.m.
Police say the worker was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Paramedics are also on hand.
In a statement provided to CTV News Toronto, the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development confirmed that it was notified that worker sustained fatal injuries at a project in Toronto on May 19.
“A ministry inspector has been assigned. As the investigation is ongoing, no further details are available at this time,” spokesperson Janet Deline wrote.
