Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Etobicoke suffers life-threatening injuries

The incident appears to have taken place at the entrance of an underground parking garage of a high-rise building near Dundas St. West and Kipling Ave.

A pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke early Thursday morning suffered critical injuries.

The collision occurred in a private driveway in the area of Dundas Street West and Aukland Road, near Kipling Avenue, at around 3:15 a.m.

Police told CP24 that one man in his 40s was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene, police added.
