Boy in life-threatening condition after fight ended in stabbing, Toronto police say

One boy is in life-threatening condition, and another sustained critical injuries after a fight between two groups of teenagers ended in a stabbing, police say.

A fight between two groups of teenagers in Toronto on Thursday ended with a stabbing that sent two boys to the hospital, one of them in life-threatening condition.

Toronto police said they got a call at 7:14 p.m. after two boys suffering from stab wounds showed up at a hospital near Wilson Avenue and Keele Street.

One victim sustained critical injuries while another had non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

They added that a third victim was later located, but he did not sustain any injuries.

It is unclear where the altercation occurred.

Police said they are looking for one suspect described as being light-skinned, five-foot-five, with curly black hair with brown ends. He was last seen wearing Nike track pants and black New Balance shoes.
