SB Hwy. 400 in Toronto reopens following multi-vehicle collision

Highway 400 southbound in North York has reopened following a multi-vehicle collision late Saturday afternoon.

The crash happened near Sheppard Avenue West.

As a result, several lanes of the highway as well as the on-ramps from Finch Avenue were off limits as police investigated.

The highway is now fully open, the OPP said in a follow-up post on X.

Motorists were advised to plan alternate routes.

Police said one person was transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
