Toronto police are investigating what they describe as a “suspicious” death downtown after a woman was found deceased inside a private garage early Saturday morning.
Officials say officers were approached in the Dundas Street and Seaton Street area for a “medical complaint” at around 9:22 a.m.
Police say when they arrived, they found an adult woman inside a “private garage” who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators have not released further details about the circumstances surrounding the death.
In an email to CP24, police say “if this turns into a criminal matter, we will issue a news release with further information.”
There is no word on any suspects but police add it is an “ongoing investigation.”
