Two people have been taken to the hospital following a fire at a business in Toronto’s west end on Sunday afternoon, police say.
The blaze broke out in the York area, near Eglinton Avenue West and Dufferin Street.
Toronto police said they were called there just after 4 p.m. for reports of an electrical fire in a business. Everyone got out of the commercial building, they said.
Toronto fire is on scene.
Police say two occupants were transported to hospital for smoke inhalation. No other injuries have been reported.
Currently, Eglinton Avenue West is closed at Dufferin Street. Police are asking drivers to use alternate routes.
