One male is dead following a motorcycle crash in East York early Tuesday morning, Toronto police say.
Police said it happened just after midnight in the area of Bayview Avenue and Pottery Road.
According to police, a 37-year-old man operating a 2025 red Ducati motorcycle southbound on Bayview Avenue crossed the centre line and struck the 32-year-old driver of a 2025 black Honda CRV.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead and the driver of the Honda remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
Bayview Avenue was closed in both directions south of Pottery Road for several hours but reopened shortly before 7 a.m.
