Police are searching for a man who allegedly fired a crossbow at another person inside a home in East York over the weekend.
The incident happened on Sunday, near O’Connor Drive and Bermondsey Road.
Toronto police say they were called to that area at around 7:40 p.m. for reports of unknown trouble.
Investigators say two people were inside a residence together when one of them pointed and fired a crossbow at the other person. A second victim intervened, and the suspect then allegedly pointed the crossbow at them.
Both victims were able to flee and contacted the police.
The suspect and the victims are known to each other, police say.
No injuries were reported.
Benjamin Joseph Ironstand, 30, of Toronto, is wanted for three counts of assault with a weapon, and one count each of forcible confinement, weapons dangerous, and possess firearm, etc. while prohibited.
He is only described as standing six feet five with a large build.
