An angel monument weighing 100 pounds was stolen from a Burlington cemetery. Police are asking residents to be on the lookout

Police are appealing for information after an angel monument weighing approximately 100 pounds was stolen from a Burlington cemetery.

Police in Halton Region say that the monument was reported stolen from the Lowville United Church Cemetery on Britannia Road on May 26 but is believed to have been taken sometime between May 16 and May 22.

It is described as a large angel that is made of cast resin and is approximately four-and-a-half feet tall.

Police are urging anyone who spots the monument or may have information related to its disappearance to contact investigators.
