Sunny weather is expected throughout the weekend, so you may want to keep sunscreen close at hand.
According to Environment Canada, daytime temperatures are expected to remain above 20 C throughout the weekend.
“Spring started with a sputter. But now it’s starting to hum. And you might be signing a brighter tune knowing the next 7 days will be comfortable with highs mainly in the low to mid 20s,” CP24 Meteorologist Bill Coulter said Friday.
Today’s forecast is calling for a high of 26 C accompanied by westerly winds ranging from 20 km/h to 50 km/h.
The day is expected to start off sunny before turning to a mix of sun and cloud near noon. Skies are expected to clear in the evening, with winds gusting between 20 km/h and 40 km/h. The overnight low is expected to be 9 C.
Saturday is expected to bring sunny skies and a high of 20 C. The overnight low is forecast at 11 C with clear conditions continuing into the evening.
Similar weather is expected Sunday, with a high of 22 C and an overnight low of 11 C.
There is a 30 per cent chance of showers Monday, along with a daytime high of 22 C. Any rain is expected to clear by the evening, when temperatures are forecast to dip to 10 C.
