A 20-year-old man has been charged in connection with a shooting in an underground parking lot in Brampton earlier this month that left one person seriously injured.
Peel Regional Police said on the afternoon of May 13, two people were involved in an altercation in the parking lot near Silver Maple Court, in the area of Queen Street East and Dixie Road.
During that time, one was shot and later taken to a trauma centre with serious injuries, police said.
A warrant was later issued for the suspect, 20-year-old Jessen Ebini-Kingue, who was wanted for attempted murder.
In a news release on Saturday, police announced that Ebini-Kingue was arrested on May 24 on West Drive.
