13 people taken to the hospital following collision involving 2 TTC buses in Toronto’s west end

Emergency crews are at the scene at Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West where two TTC buses collided.

Thirteen people have been taken to the hospital, all with minor injuries, following a collision involving two TTC buses in Toronto’s York area late Monday afternoon, police say.

The crash happened near Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West.

Paramedics say they transported 13 patients, including one 16-year-old and 12 adults, to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Toronto police say they do not have information at this time as to what led up to the collision.
