Toronto police search for suspect in TTC elevator assault

Police have released photos of a suspect wanted in connection to an assault in an elevator at Main Street Station on May 28.

Toronto police have released images of a female suspect wanted in connection with an assault in a TTC station elevator last week.

Police said they were called to Main Street Station in the afternoon of May 28 after a woman was assaulted in an elevator.

The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, police said.

Meanwhile, the suspect fled the station.

She is described as being between 30 and 40 years old and six feet tall and was last seen wearing a grey sweater, a black top, black shorts, a bonnet, a bandana and holding a green and red reusable bag.

Police said the suspect was walking with a toddler.
