15-year-old boy injured after shooting in North York

Police are looking for a suspect in the shooting of a 15-year-old boy near Cherokee Blvd. and Shawnee Cir.

Police are investigating after they say a teen made his own way to hospital after a shooting in North York on Tuesday night.

Police said officers were called to the area of Shawnee Circle and Cherokee Boulevard for a reported shooting.

A 15-year-old boy took himself to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
