A pedestrian has been seriously injured after being hit by a pickup truck in Scarborough on Wednesday afternoon.
Toronto police say they received a call at 1:44 p.m. about the incident in the area of Kingston and Manse Roads, east of Morningside Avenue.
The pedestrian was rushed to a trauma centre with serious injuries, life-threatening injuries, Toronto paramedics say.
Meanwhile, the driver, police say, remained at the scene.
The circumstances of the collision are not immediately known.
