Police search for three suspects after downtown Toronto assault in May

Toronto police are searching for three suspects after an assault in downtown Toronto last month.

On May 9, officers responded to the area of King Street West and Spadina Avenue at around 11:30 p.m. after reports of an assault.

According to police, the victim was at a nearby bar when a verbal altercation ensued.

The suspects, two men and one woman, approached the victim, and a fight began.

As a result, the victim suffered serious non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the suspects remained on scene for “an undetermined amount of time” after the assault.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three suspects.

The first male suspect is described as 20 to 30 years old, five-foot-eight to six feet tall, with a medium build, dark hair and clean-shaven. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt.

The second male suspect is described as 20 to 30 years old, five-foot-eight to six feet tall, with a medium build, short dark hair and a dark moustache. He was last seen wearing a light blue Toronto Blue Jays jersey.

The female suspect is described as 20 to 30 years old, five-foot-eight, with a heavy build and shoulder-length blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a dark blue Toronto Blue Jays jersey and jeans.
