A cyclist has been rushed to hospital after a crash involving a vehicle early Saturday morning in Brampton, police say.
Officials from Peel regional police say the crash happened in the area of Chinguacousy Road and Daviselm Drive sometime after 1:30 a.m.
The cyclist was taken to a local trauma centre for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been released.
Police say the driver remained at the scene.
As a result of the investigation, all southbound lanes of Chinguacousy Road are closed between Flowertown Avenue and Burt Drive.
The investigation is ongoing.
