Toronto police are investigating after they say a synagogue in North York had its window smashed overnight.

Police say officers responded to reports of mischief in the area of Bathurst Street and Glencairn Avenue.

It’s unclear what time the incident may have occurred but investigators allege the window was broken with an unknown object.

No injuries were reported and there is no suspect description at this time.

Officials say their Hate Crime Unit is leading the investigation and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
