Two motorcyclists have been taken to the hospital following a collision in Scarborough on Sunday afternoon.
The crash happened in the Highland Creek neighbourhood, near Military Trail and Ellesmere roads.
Toronto police said they were called to that area at around 3:20 p.m. for reports of a motorcycle involved in single-vehicle collision.
They say a second motorcyclist who was attempting to avoid that incident was involved in a collision.
Police say both riders were ejected off motorcycles, one of whom is being as a female rider in her 20s with serious injuries. The other, they later said, is also a female in her 20s. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Military Trail Road remains closed in both directions north of Ellesmere Road for the investigation.
