One driver is in custody after police say they rear-ended a fully marked cruiser during a traffic stop in Mississauga late Tuesday night.
It happened on Dixie Road, north of Dundas Street East, at around 11 p.m.
Police said the driver was taken into custody and subsequently transported to hospital with minor injuries.
No officers were injured in the collision, police said.
Some lanes of the roadway were shut down for the collision but all lanes have since reopened.
It is not clear what charges the driver is facing.
