A 50-year-old man has been charged after allegedly making antisemitic threats at a North York community centre.
Toronto police say the man, on Monday, allegedly sent communications containing antisemitic content to the centre located near Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West.
Police allege the man attended the centre and uttered antisemitic threats.
On Friday, police arrested Thomas Andrew Hardcastle of Toronto.
He has been charged with criminal harassment and uttering threats.
Police say they are investigating the incident as a suspected hate-motivated offence.
