Man stabbed at Union Station, suspect outstanding

A person was found with stab wounds near Union Station and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A man was rushed to hospital early Sunday morning after a stabbing at Union Station.

Toronto police say emergency crews were called to the downtown transit hub at approximately 12:45 a.m. following reports of a stabbing.

Officials tell CP24 the victim ultimately suffered non-life-threatening injuries though he was transported to hospital in serious condition.

Investigators have not released a suspect description at this time and say the suspect remains outstanding.

The circumstances surrounding the stabbing have also not been disclosed.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
