A female pedestrian has been struck and seriously injured by a vehicle in North York, police say.
Emergency crews responded to a call for a collision in the area of Leslie Street and Bannatyne Drive, north of York Mills Road, at 6:13 p.m.
Police say the pedestrian was located with serious injuries and has been transported to the hospital.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, police say.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are not immediately known.
