Toronto police say they are searching for a suspect in an unprovoked assault and robbery in the city’s east end last week.
According to investigators, a victim was unloading their vehicle in the area of Dundas Street East and Broadview Avenue shortly before 5 p.m. on June 12 when they were approached by a man.
The man, police said, attacked the victim in an unprovoked assault and proceeded to steal their property before fleeing the area.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect has been described as between 25 and 30 years old, about six feet tall, and weighs between 180 and 190 pounds with a thin build. He was wearing all black clothing at the time
Images of the suspect have now been released by police.
