Ontario Provincial Police say a dump truck driver is dead following a crash in Oshawa on Thursday morning.
The single-vehicle crash happened on the Highway 407 eastbound ramp at Simcoe Street shortly before 8:15 a.m.
Police said the dump truck rolled over in the area and the driver of the vehicle was subsequently pronounced dead.
The area is expected to be closed to traffic for several hours for the police investigation.
