Toronto police say a pedestrian is in hospital with serious injuries after she was struck by a vehicle in Scarborough Wednesday night.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Birchmount and Comstock roads, south of Eglinton Avenue, just after 11 p.m. for a collision.
Police told CP24 that a 31-year-old driver struck a 63-year-old woman. She was transported to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene. It’s unclear if any charges will be laid, police said.
