Pat Foran has the story of a woman who’s missing out after concert tickets she purchased through StubHub weren’t delivered because of a glitch.

A woman from Wasaga Beach purchased two tickets to American country artist Bailey Zimmerman’s June 18 concert in Toronto for her daughter, but was shocked that due to a technical glitch, she wasn’t able to claim them.

Jessica Caissie is a huge fan of Zimmerman, and when her mother gifted her tickets to his show, she was ecstatic to see him perform at the RBC Amphitheatre with her fiancé.

“This was a Christmas present for her because I know she loves Bailey Zimmerman, and I purchased the more expensive ones because I knew she would not do that for herself,” said Donna Caissie, Jessica’s mother.

It was nine months ago, in October, that Donna purchased two tickets for her daughter on StubHub for $536.

“I got a notification from StubHub in April to say the tickets were ready and I could claim the tickets,” Donna said.

As Donna tried to claim the tickets, she received an error message on her device, stating something wasn’t right. It appeared there was a glitch in the system, preventing tickets from being released.

“I have two tickets for my daughter that I can see in my StubHub account. But StubHub is saying I can’t claim the tickets because they’ve already been claimed,” Donna said.

‘No one wants to take the blame’

The family has been trying to deal with the issue for the past two months, and with the concert day finally here, Donna told CTV News the issue still hasn’t been resolved.

“StubHub is telling me it’s Ticketmaster’s problem. Ticketmaster is telling me it’s StubHub’s problem. It seems no one wants to take the blame for why we don’t have any tickets,” Donna said.

Jessica even sent a direct message to Zimmerman on Instagram, asking for help to get the seats her mother paid for.

CTV News reached out to StubHub on Caissie’s behalf, and a spokesperson told CTV News they are looking into this matter.

Donna was hopeful her daughter would still be able to attend the concert, but if she doesn’t, she told CTV News she wants a refund.

“I hope if they are not going to reissue the tickets, they can at least give us our money back. So she can either repurchase tickets to see Bailey Zimmerman, or I guess she is out a Christmas present,” Donna said.
