Female victim critically injured in downtown Toronto apartment shooting, paramedics say

A female victim has life-threatening injuries following a shooting at an apartment building in downtown Toronto on Saturday, paramedics say.

It happened at around 9:30 a.m. in the area of Jarvis and Dundas streets.

Police say they were called to a shooting inside of an apartment unit, where they found a female victim who had been shot.

Paramedics confirm to CP24 they transported a female victim with critical injuries to hospital.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting is unknown at this time.

Toronto police say there is no suspect description available at this time.
