At least three Toronto-bound lanes on the Queen Elizabeth Way were blocked near Stoney Creek throughout the Monday morning rush hour following a collision.
The two-vehicle collision took place near Nikola Tesla Blvd. on Monday morning.
Only one Toronto-bound lane was getting through on the highway for most of the morning, with the issue only clearing just after 10 a.m.
“It is just the right lane that is getting through so it is pretty slow going as you make your way from Stoney Creek,” CP24 traffic specialist Meital Sperling said earlier on Monday.
Sperling said that there was also a truck involved in the collision but its driver fled the scene.
It is not clear whether there were any injuries as a result of the collision.
