Toronto will see below-seasonal temperatures today as the first full week of summer officially gets underway in the city.
CP24 Meteorologist Bill Coulter says that the daytime high for Monday is not likely to surpass 21 C with the chance of some precipitation west of the city, particularly along the Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton and Niagara corridors.
Coulter says that temperatures should pick up on Tuesday with a high of 25 C along with sunny skies with temperatures hovering between 21 C and 23 C for the remainder of the week.

That will coincide with another FIFA World Cup game slated for Toronto on Tuesday night that will feature Croatia and Panama.
The average daytime high at this time of year is 25 C.
“There is no sweltering heat but still comfortable, manageable, seasonable in many cases and that is what the trend will be for the next seven days,” Coulter says.
Coulter says that there is a chance of some precipitation mid-week, with Environment Canada calling for a 60 percent chance of showers or thunderstorms on Thursday.
But he said that the conditions will clear for the weekend.
Currently, Environment Canada is predicting sunny skies for both Saturday and Sunday with daytime highs of 26 C and 27 C, respectively.
