A 73-year-old man is dead following an electric bicycle crash in Scarborough on Tuesday afternoon.
Toronto police said it happened just before 4 p.m. near Kingston Road and Sheppard Avenue East.
The man was riding his e-bike east on Kingston Road at Raspberry Road when he lost control and struck the curb, police said.
He suffered serious injuries and was later taken to the hospital, where, police said, he was pronounced dead.
Police are asking anyone in the area who may have security footage of the incident to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
