34-year-old man wanted in connection with stabbing in Scarborough

Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a stabbing in Scarborough last weekend.

It happened on Sunday at around 5 p.m. in the area of Kennedy Road and Eglinton Avenue East.

Two people allegedly got into a verbal fight before the suspect stabbed the victim and fled the scene.

Toronto police say the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police did not say if the suspect and victim were known to each other.

Police say they are searching for 34-year-old Daniel Dunn, of Toronto, who is wanted in connection with this assault investigation. He is wanted for assault causing bodily harm and two counts of failing to comply with probation.

Police describe the male suspect as five-foot-10 with a thin build, long brown hair and a full beard.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
