One person has been taken to the hospital following a stabbing in Toronto’s east end on Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened near Main Street and Danforth Avenue.

Toronto police say they were called to that area just before 1:15 p.m. for reports of a stabbing outside Main (Street) subway station.

Paramedics say they transported an adult male to a trauma centre with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.
