A boy riding a bicycle in Etobicoke on Sunday night was rushed to the hospital after being struck by the driver of a vehicle.

The collision occurred near Bloor Street West and Peacock Avenue, which is just west of Renforth Drive.

Toronto police said they were called to that area just before 7:30 p.m. for reports of a 12-year-old boy on a bike who had been struck by a car.
