A motorcyclist was transported to a trauma centre after a two-vehicle crash in Mississauga Sunday night.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Laird Road at 9:50 p.m. for reports of a collision.
Images from the scene showed the motorcycle was badly damaged after it was struck and subsequently pinned by a van in the middle of the intersection.

The extent of the motorcyclist’s injuries is unknown, but police said they are now in stable condition.
Police say the driver of the other vehicle involved remained at the scene. The circumstances leading up to the crash are unclear.
Roads were closed in the area, but have since reopened.
