A pedestrian struck by a driver near Toronto’s waterfront early Monday morning is fighting for her life in hospital, paramedics say.

Emergency crews were called to the scene at Carlaw Avenue and Commissioners Street, in the city’s Port Lands district, just after 6 a.m.

Toronto Paramedic Services told Newstalk 1010 that the pedestrian, a woman in her 30s, has serious, life-threatening injuries.
