Toronto police have released images of a man who allegedly broke into an East York home in the middle of the night.

Toronto police have released images of a man who allegedly broke into an East York home in the middle of the night.

In a news release issued Monday morning, investigators said the suspect entered the home, located at Cosburn and Coxwell avenues, just before 3 a.m. on June 28.

Once inside, the suspect was confronted by the homeowner. Police said he then fled the residence.

Police said the suspect is believed to be in his 20s, six-foot-two, with a medium build and short brown hair. He was wearing a red, long-sleeve shirt and grey “Puma” sweatpants.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the break-in to contact police at 416-808-5500 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
