A cyclist has been struck by a streetcar in downtown Toronto Tuesday afternoon.

It happened shortly before 5 p.m. at the intersection of Simcoe Street and King Street West.

Police say one male was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The intersection was previously closed as a result of the collision but roads have since reopened.
