Toronto police are searching for a man who allegedly stabbed a victim in the back in an unprovoked attack over the weekend.
It happened on Sunday afternoon, at around 12:45 p.m., in the area of Danforth Avenue and Main Street, near Main Street Station.
Police allege the suspect approached the victim from behind and fled from the area after the assault.
Paramedics previously told CP24 that they transported an adult male to a trauma centre with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.
Officers describe the suspect as a man in his 20s, approximately five-foot-10 with a goatee. They add that he was last seen wearing a dark-colour plaid sweater and blue jeans.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
