One person has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in Scarborough on Wednesday afternoon.
The stabbing occurred shortly after 2 p.m. inside a residence in the Ellesmere Road and Meadowvale Road area.
Police say the victim and suspect are known to each other.
Neither party has been identified by police.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries.
