2 male suspects allegedly assault victim in attempted robbery in North York: police

A victim was rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after an attempted robbery early Wednesday, according to Toronto Police.

It happened shortly after 12:40 a.m. on Wednesday, in the area of Steeles Avenue West and Carpenter Road in North York.

Police tell CTV News Toronto they were called to the scene for reports of a stabbing.

When officers arrived, police say they learned two male suspects dressed in all black allegedly assaulted the victim in an attempted robbery.

The investigation is ongoing.
