2 hurt, 1 seriously, in Toronto Annex collision

Published:

Two people were injured after two vehicles collided on Bathurst St. near Dupont, sending one car into a pole and the other flipping onto its roof.

Two people have been transported to the hospital, one with serious injuries, following a crash in Toronto’s Annex area late Tuesday afternoon, paramedics say.

The collision happened near Bathurst and Dupont streets.

Toronto police said they were called to that area at 5:15 p.m. for reports of a two-vehicle collision – where one vehicle went into a pole and the other flipped.

Toronto Paramedic Services say they transported two patients: one to a trauma centre with serious, non-life-threatening injuries, and another with minor injuries.

Currently, Bathurst Street is closed between Vermont and Olive avenues.

Police are urging drivers to use alternate routes.
