A Toronto man who worked as a school chef and summer camp counsellor has been arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a minor multiple times over a two-year period, police say.
Police say officers responded to a call about an unknown trouble in the area of Broadview and Danforth avenues on July 3, police then launched an investigation.
According to investigators, the suspect first met the female youth through social media in 2024.
Police say the victim was sexually assaulted on multiple occasions between 2024 and 2026.
Dale Jeisman, 39, of Toronto, has been charged with sexual interference involving a person under the age of 16, two counts of sexual assault, assault by choking and two counts of assault.
According to police, Jeisman previously worked at a school in the Don Mills Road and Lawrence Avenue East area. He also worked as a summer camp counsellor in the Lawrence Avenue West and Dufferin Street area.
Police believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone with information to contact investigators.
